Survey Monuments

  1. Enter your address or PIDN number on the HOME page in the Explore LINK-GIS Maps box. The Link-GIS viewer page will open, displaying the map.
  2. Hover on the Map Information Globe in the gray box titled LINK-GIS (when hovering over it reads Map Information) in the drop down menu click on the Survey Monumentation tool.  A widget will open on the right side of the screen that is titled Survey Monumentation.
  3. If you already know the designation of a particular monument you can use the slider on the right side of the Survey Monumentation widget to zoom directly to that particular monument.  If not simply use the zoom slider on the left side of the map to find the nearest survey monument.
  4. Once the monument is located, hover over the representative symbol and gray box will pop up with information about that particular monument.  Click on a selection and a new window will open giving the information as selected about the monument.
  5. To minimize the widget, click on the green arrow in the top right of the widget. 
  6. To close the widget, click the ‘x’ in the top right corner.
