Identify
- In the LINK-GIS Map Viewer, hover on the blue cube in the gray box titled LINK-GIS. When hovering over it reads “Tools.”
- In the drop down menu click on the “Identify” tool. A widget will open on the right side of the screen that is titled “Identify.”
- Click on the Blue dot in the Identify widget, and then place the mouse over the object to be identified and left click. The results of the Identify tool will display in the Identify widget.
- Use the slider on the right side of the Identify widget to scroll through the identify results. The Identify tool will identify the map layers that are turned on. Turn on layers you wish to identify and turn off layers you do not wish to identify by using the Map Layers widget, located in the Map Information drop down menu.
- Clicking on any of the results found in the Identify widget will cause the main map viewer to zoom to the specific object that is selected in the results of the Identify widget.
- Toggle from the Results to the Identify tool by clicking on the “i” icon and the table icon in the upper right hand corner of the Identify widget.
- To clear any selected objects, click on the “i” icon in the upper right hand corner of the Identify widget, then click on the recycle container icon to clear any objects selected by the identify tool.
- To minimize the widget, click on the green arrow in the top right of the widget.
- To close the widget, click the ‘x’ in the top right corner.
