More Maps
- In the My Community Map Viewer, hover on the Globe in the gray box titled My Community. When hovering over it reads “Maps.”
- In the drop down menu click on the “More Maps” tool.
- A widget will open on the right side of the screen that is titled “More Maps.”
- Under Layer Visibility there are various data options to add to the current map.
- The map may have to be zoomed out to see the data.
- Using the Identify tool located under the blue cube titled “Tools.” Select the layer to identify in the dropdown menu next to the “Name:” label, in the Identify widget. Then click on an area on the map and a box will appear displaying various attributes about that area.
- To see the map features underneath this data use the gear icon labeled “Layer Options” in the upper right corner of the More Map box on the right hand side of the screen.
- The Layer Transparency of the layer can be changed to allow data to be seen underneath by sliding the scroll bar. Scroll to the left to make the layer more transparent and scroll to the right to make a layer less transparent.
- To minimize the widget, click on the green arrow in the top right of the widget.
- To close the widget, click the ‘x’ in the top right corner.
